Camera shots. by Iqra,Salam and Abdi

 this is a long shot and we used long shot on this person because we wanted him to look powerful.
 this is a medium close-up and we used this because he was a victim in this shot, we wanted him to look powerless and weak.
 this is a over the shoulder shot and this is used because we wanted to show the victim getting pushed to the side as you can see we used a slightly close-up shot because we wanted to show you this reaction to the boy pushing him.
 this is a over the shoulder shot and a medium shot. we used these two because we wanted to get a close-up of the punch and wanted to show the anger on the powerful bully's face.
 in this shot it shows the victim getting dragged to the conner of the lockers by a bully, that had just punched him in the face. As you can see the victim is very upset and is hurt. for this picture we used a wide medium shot.
 In this picture the victim is in the conner crying while a a girl and the bully is laughing at him. For this picture we used a over the shoulder and a wide shot. we used these two because we wanted to make the victim look very small and weak.
 this is a close-up shot of the victim covering his face trying to think of a way to get out of this mess, he knows moving school wont help or telling a teacher because it will just get him back in the worse possible way. this boy who he got beaten up by is not just a normal boy, hes a bully a bully that will never get caught for what hes doing to this boy.
 this is a close-up of the victim wiping his tears... as hes thought of  way to get out of this mess but no one knows what hes going to do next...
this is a wide shot of the victim gettting ready to kill himself. if you look closely to his face you can tell hes upset but he feels like this is the only way to get out of this mess. so hes found a chair to stand on and now hes just waiting to jump off.
this is a over the shoulder shot, this shows height of the place hes going to jump off from....
this shot has been take from far away from the boy and it shows the boy dead on the floor. if you look carefully to the right bottom of the shot u can  see a foot and its supposed to be the bully's foot. but in this picture you cant really see who jumped off it would be anyone
this is a shot where the front object is clear and the person behind is burly which builds up more suspense  
this is a wide shot of the victim's body... hes dead

print advert- Arma iii

introduction: this is a print advert for a game called Arma III. 
language: the text is big and bold so it catches someone eye when they see the print advert. the boldness of the front relates to the army theme, it suits the background as the background has a lot going on with the tanks,helicopters and the smoke from the bombs.   

institution: this game is presented on the PC so its not a games that you can get on the xbox, wii U or PlayStations. it was released on 6th of August 2013. this game does not come on different platforms but yet is the best PC game yet.

audience: the target audience is on girls and boys that are aged between 14 and 19. with the girls its only targeted on girls that like playing games, where you can use guns and explore the world of being in war. you can tell that the game is targeted on people that like playing war games because there is a man in the print advert holding a gun and the background has a tank and helicopters with a type of grey smoke, which is supposed to show a bomb exploding.  

representation: in the background there is and man from the army that is holding a gun and behind him there is a lot of thing happening. there is bombs exploding, tanks aiming at a place to shoot and there is helicopters dropping down bombs. all these details in the background show us that this game is mostly for people that like playing games with guns and things like that. there are no female showing so that means that the game is not targeted to girls as much it is to boys. it does not mean girls can not play it means that girls that are interested in games like that then they can play but the target is towards to boys.

Fruit Bowl

This colouring designed by Salam Bounoua, Iqra Javed and Darnell George emphasises the feeling and sense of old fashion through the colours utilised. As you can see the picture we have used to collect the colours from isn't really a picture to represent the olden times and is also not a picture taken in the olden times. However we have impressively noticed that the colours in that picture represents the olden days and so we have used it in the fruit bowl. The colours black and white were used as the t.v's and pictures back in the day was (obviously) black and white and the rest of the colours such as brown, orange, yellow and etc. were used as it gives a real sense of old fashion!

The Retake Mass Effect 3 campaign has brought to a close its protest against the ending of Mass Effect 3, declaring it a resounding success.
